Spread over acres of land, surrended by green fields Officers Club is an exquisite location, an ideally suited place to unwind; To relax, to break away from the madding city life. Estalished in 1998, Officers club has grown from strength to strength. The club boasts of having the elite of town enrolled as its members. The facilities, location and the ambience are perfectly balanced to make it an enviable address.

Membership Details

1)PERMANENT OR LIFE MEMBER Officers not below the rank of Class – I and Class-II, Gazette Officers (both State and Central Government) having headquartered at Davanagere district shall be eligible to become Permanent or Life Members of the association with the formal approval of the Executive Committee. However first priority will be given to the State Government Officers and incase of vacancies membership will be accorded to the central Government Officers.
2)Officers equal to the status of Class I and Class-II and above, in semi government Organizations having Headquarter at davanagere District as approved by 2/3rd members of the Executive Committee shall be eligible to become Permanent or Life Members of the club. However, Membership to this category will be accorded only incase of vacancies available after the consideration of applications from category 4(2)(1) above. Any officer be accorded life Membership on payment of a donation of Rs. 30,000/- after the approval of his membership to the club.
3)Any retired officer not below the rank of class-I and class-II and above at the time of retirement and who is a permanent resident of Davanagere city may be accorded with Permanent or Life Membership as approved by the Executive Committee. However, such membership will be accorded by the Executive Committee incase of vacancies available in the club. The membership fee shall be Rs. 30,000/- which is non refundable.
4)The application for Permanent or Life Membership shall be referred to executive Committee which decides the eligibility by 2/3rd
The Permanent or Life Membership approved as stated above, shall be temporary till the satisfactory completion of 6 months by such member and the said satisfactory completion shall be endorsed by the Executive Committee.

Facilities

Suite Room :

The Club offers five double bed rooms all air conditioned, spacious, tastefully furnished and equipped with host of modern amenities which offers the highest standards of comfortale, consistent, clean, quality and economical accommodation fit enough for your tastes, needs and requirements.

Recreation:

The Club has open air theatre for cultural activities for its members and family members. Outside artists are also invited on all important occasions, including new year celebrations and cultural functions. We conduct annual sports and cultural competition during November and December.

Meeting Hall:

Our Meeting rooms provide the ideal setting for meetings with projector and screen facilities are available for powerpoint presentations.

Indoor & Outdoor Sports facilities:

Indoor sports complexes are springing up around the country. Outdoor sports beneficial use is realted to the physical and social rewards that goal-directed activities instills individual or groups.

Health Club:

A Health Club(also known as a fitness club, health spa, and commonly referred to as a gym) is a place which houses exrecise equipment for the purpose of physical exercise. Most health clubs have a main workout area, which primarily consists of free weights including dumbbells, barbells and exercise machines.

Kundwada Lake

Kunduvada Lake in Davangere is a very big and beautiful lake, which offers good view of sunset and is a popular picnic spot. Lake is very nearer to Officers Club (Within 500 mtrs) and has 5 KM log wide bund with comfortable walking pathway.

Harihareshwara Temple

Built in 1223-24 by Polalva, a commander and minister of Hoysala Empire King Vira Narasimha II is situated in Harihar dedicated to Hari-hara/Lord Vishnu-Shiva. This place is also known as "Dakshina Kashi".

Soole Kere (Shanti Sagara)

Soole Kere is a major drinking water supply source and also the second biggest pond in Asia. Which is in Channagiri taluk of Davangere district. It was built by namesake princess Shanthi during 12th century.

Sante Bennur

Sate-Bennur is a small town located in Channagiri taluk, Davangere Dist. It is famous for a Pond called "Pushkarini", locally called "Honda".

Karanji Mantapa, one of the historic sites, is located at a distance of around 36 kmfrom the district headquarters. The site houses a tank of Santhebennur, which is renowned for a stone carved chariot, which is located in the middle of the tank. The stone chariot is identical to other sides from all the four sides and is also huge in structure. The mantapa has a huge water storage tank at its bottom that serves the system of springing out from the top

Anekonda

Anekonda is located on the Davangere-Jaglur road, which passes through the destination. Possessing historic significance, the site served as a place where elephants of the king's army were tied up. It is believed that when Betur was the capital, the site witnessed the ruling periods of Gandas, Uchangi, Pandyas, Chalukyas and Hoysalas. Natives state that Anekonda was a developed city during 11th and 12th centuries.

Anagodu Park & Zoo

Betur, one of the historical sites, is located at a distance of around 6 kmfrom the district headquarters on Davangere-Jaglur Road. Situated at a distance of around 2 km from Anekonda, the site was the capital of Tribhuvana Malla Pandya during medieval period. The site is believed to be used by the king for keeping his cattle. Besides, it also houses an ancient Kalleshwara Temple, which represents the beauty of Chalukya style of architecture. The victory pillars and manuscripts preserved at the temple reveal various historic events. The inner sanctum of the temple houses idols of Nataraja, Shiva-Parvati and Nandi, which represents the monolithic sculptural styles of Saptamatrukas.

Bathi Gudda (Hill)

Bathi Gudda is a mountainous peak located at a distance of around 7 km from Davangere. The site is renowned for offering a bird’s eye view of Davangere and Harihar cities. The hill is the abode of an ancient Hindu Temple and Dargah of Chaman Shah Wali. The premises of these shrines are adorned with floral decorations and are visited by a large number of devotees and tourists during annual celebrations. Often called as Pavithra Vana, the premises of the hills are adorned with various kinds of trees, which cover around 30 hectares on the hillock. Besides, Bhadra sugar factory and "Bathi Lake" are also situated on the sides of the hills. Tourists can also visit Davangere Dairy.

Hampi

Hampi is charismatic even in its ruined place, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi unique. Among them are beautiful temples, ruins of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms, treasury buildings. the list is practically endless. Chitradurga Fort

Chitradurga is 67 km from Davangere, is a fortification that straddles several hills and a peak overlooking a flat valley in the Chitradurga District, Karnataka, India. Chitradurga fort's name Chitrakaldurga, which means 'picturesque fort' in Kannada, is the namesake of the town Chitradurga and its administrative district.
